Slider ball replacement.
Anyone having experience, and want to share hints and description for the easy way to do this.

Hi Jorgen, to do this you must first remove the main rotor blades, remove the control cables and then remove the entire main shaft and swashplate assembly from the helicopter. The locking collar on the main thrust bearing is removed by loosening the set screw, then using a punch and heavy hammer, place the punch in the non threaded hole in the locking collar and tap it in the direction opposite the direction of rotation, it was locked in the direction of rotation at the factory.
You next need to set the assembly on a work bench and pull the main shaft out of the swashplate assembly.
To inspect the slider ball (you can do this part while still on the helicopter) You need to move the collective sissor counter weight up the shaft to give some room for the rotating swashplate to move up. Loosen the two set screws securing the knurled ring under the rotating swash plate and unscrew it to separate the swash plate halves.
The top of the slider ball is now free of the rotating swash plate.
Under the stationary swash plate you will find a snap ring securing the rotating swashplate to the slider ball, remove that and the slider ball should be able to be removed.
