This was the nicest Jet Exec that I had ever inspected. I did the pre purchase inspection for the new buyer and told him that it was a really nice machine. I told him that I would be happy to provide him with transition training in his helicopter but he said he had a friend who would do that for him.

The friend picked up the helicopter and got 5 hours of stormy weather flying before he went down in the firestorm due to fuel exhaustion. The NTSB report is an interesting read.
