Carriage Slider clevis interference - Lyle Swallows - 06-13-2026 Hi All, if there's anyone there. i just got the new style slider carriage(TR swashplate)(spider)(whatever you wanna call it) and i am having an interference issue with the end stop/seal holder. instructions just say ensure no interference not how to alleviate any. is it as simple as grind away the clearance ~1/8" of material from the "web"? i'm sure this is due to my clevis being for the old style, maybe there was an update to the clevis. not a huge issue, mostly posting to share info incase someone comes across this in the future. RE: Carriage Slider clevis interference - Lyle Swallows - 06-14-2026 well, the old construction manual doesnt have a measurement or tolerance. the new one does and i'm under that. so i'll be making a new clevis. just some good quality metal flat stock, but it's yet another thing added on to my list. holes measured 2-1/8" print calls for (2-1/4" to 2-3/8") RE: Carriage Slider clevis interference - Tim Morris - 06-14-2026 Good catch.   Sure wish some of the old heads would spend some time on this forum.   With ROG down, I fear the knowledge trust may be lost. RE: Carriage Slider clevis interference - Orv Neisingh - 06-15-2026 I have never encountered that interference before in over 40 years working on Rotorways. Perhaps the factory built the part wrong? I am out of state right now but can get you measurements when I return home this week. RE: Carriage Slider clevis interference - Homer Bell - 06-17-2026 I think all we did was grind out a half moon shaped cut out to give it the necessary clearance you need . Where you fill the holes I think has all to do if have or don’t have clearance here. RE: Carriage Slider clevis interference - Homer Bell - 06-21-2026 That’s drill, not fill, the holes. Builder has to drill all the holes. Weldment usually was plenty long enough to get the holes where you need them to give you clearance you need to clear where you’re talking about. If u got it a little close , grind away to get it. Homer
